Sample Collection Personnel

In addition to our core clinical trials staff we employ health-related professionals and tertiary students on a part time basis. Procedures include venepuncture, sample collection according to a schedule, and trial-related monitoring. Training sessions in procedures, good clinical practice, and good laboratory practice are essential to attend, and are held as required throughout the year for new staff. These positions involve both weekend and weekday work.

Health professionals should have NZ registration and a current practicing certificate. Tertiary student applicants should be studying a health related discipline and must hold a current first aid certificate. Good communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility in work hours and the ability to follow strict protocols are required. Administration Personnel

From time to time we have vacancies for administration staff, in particular with data entry or excel/word computer skills. You are welcome to express your interest and submit a CV.

Laboratory Personnel

From time to time we have vacancies for analytical staff with completed tertiary science qualifications. We offer complete training in good laboratory practice and leading edge analytical techniques. You are welcome to express your interest and submit a CV in anticipation of openings that may come up.

Medical Personnel

NZMC registered medical practitioners with valid practising certificate, who are skilled particularly in securing IV access, are required for part-time weekend work. Anaesthetic registrars, A&E registrars and medical practitioners taking time out for research are often involved in our studies, in addition to medical specialists. You are welcome to express your interest and submit a CV for openings that may come up.
